Every Saturday morning Cochran shoppers are treated to a variety of farm fresh produce, home-baked goods, and crafts all sold at an affordable price. The Cochran Farmer’s Market is open from 8 am to 12 pm through out the summer. Market regulars include Vesterfield farms, a local farm producing a variety of summer vegetables and fresh flowers. Another regular is Mrs. Carolyn, who grows kale, cabbage, and onions. The Yoder’s also bring fresh-baked cakes and home-grown vegetables. Other products sold at the farmer’s market include fresh eggs, honey, and hand-crafted bath products. If you are looking for inexpensive, fresh produce, the farmer’s market is the place to find it. Provide your family with healthy choices at a low-cost and support local farmers, craftsmen, and budding entrepreneurs at the same time.
