Bleckley County High School Beta Club is currently raising money to send 23 state winners to national competition in Orlando this summer from June 29-July 2. Yes, you read that right – 23! This is an incredible achievement for a small school like BCHS. These 23 students competed in agriculture, fiber arts, robotics, and show choir. Click here to see names and pictures of winners.
Sponsors Cindy Felkins, Billie Lumley, and Jill Brack are proud of their Beta members and excited for them to show off their talents at the national level. However, they will need $12,000 for hotel, transportation, and registration alone. So, students and advisors are working hard to raise the money for their trip, and you can help.
Below is a list of fundraisers that the club has organized in their efforts to raise money. Join in! Show your support! Let a Beta member wash your car. Buy some sweet, delicious Vidalia onions or a chance on a quilt for Mother’s Day. You can even simply make a donation to the BCHS Beta Club. Let our students and their sponsors know we appreciate all their hard work!
